Sapphire is a very happy and engaging young puppy that is only 15 weeks old and weighs 24 pounds. This little one was destined for a short life and the end was going to take place in a TN shelter if not for a wonderful foster mom who stepped forward to take her and two other puppies. Sapphire is in a home with a 6 year old girl some free range chickens which she thinks are fun to watch and another small adult dog that tolerates her puppy energy. She is a Lab Pointer mix that will most probably grow to be about 50-55 pounds as an adult. She is learning crate training and all sorts of manners that a dog needs to know as they live in a home with a family and other creatures. She is a medium energy and of course has the curiosity that most puppies have. She can be taught just about anything. She is coming along really well on housetraining and loves to play outdoors and investigate the world.
