Have you ever met a dog who came from a neglectful home but was a really good dog despite their rocky beginning in life Well that is definitely what we think about Sadie. She spent most of her puppy-hood chained out but it hasn t kept her from acclimating into a normal home. She is very happy to be inside with humans now she is enjoying it so much that no new task is too great or challenging. Though she is pretty new to foster care she is already crate trained knows how to sit and is picking up her leash lessons quickly. She is an avid fan of toys and treats so training her is a joy. She would love a family that will continue her obedience lessons and enroll her in a class so that she can show her stuff She has the intelligence and loyalty of a shepherd with the loving nature and cuddle capacity of a golden retriever the perfect blend. Sadie would love another doggie in her forever home or be able to socialize with them often. She is picking up her kitty manners quickly too. Sadie does well with children but needs a home where all children are 6 years of age or older. She adores being with her humans so if her people work long hours- she would do best being able to visit a doggie daycare while they are away.
