Maverick estimated to be 2 years old is a Yellow Lab Chow mix with the temperament of a teddybear and the playful energy of a perpetual motion machine. He is a former street dog who is trying hard to learn how to live in a family. He is sweet and loving but his joyful enthusiasm to play tends to get him in trouble. Currently he jumps up on people and nips to encourage play so until he learns to control his energy care needs to be taken with children. He is very people friendly enjoys staying near his family and is somewhat protective of them. Children cats and other dogs are his friends. Maverick enjoys rides in the car going for long walks and playing. He is learning to sleep in his kennel is housebroken and doesn t bark without reason. Maverick needs to live in a home with a fenced yard where he can expend some of his energy.The suggested donation amount for Maverick is 250 which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue.
