High Tech Genesis has a permanent opening for an engineer who will be part of a team working on and optimizing Big Data storage and search. You MUST qualify for Top Secret Security Clearance (Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable residence) Required skills and experience Excellent working knowledge of Datastax DSE (Cassandra Solr) or another NoSQL database Search engine technologies Java C Ruby Performance engineering Good teammate open honest communicator Agile development experience including automated unit and integration tests Experience with on-prem or hosted cloud (Azure AWS) Due to COVID-19 restrictions all JSI staff are temporarily working from home.
