General production workers are needed for food processing of raw meat. Entry level positions. Positions vary from direct raw meat handling sanitation packaging boxing inspection and or boxing. Positions available for immediate start dates. ALL SHIFTS available with weekly pay. Positions are temp-hire after successful completion of hours. Pay Rate for this Job is 18 Hour - 19.53 Hour Responsibilities Include Work on production lines processing turkey products (packing cooked product unpacking products cutting product boxing and palletizing product) Help maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules Help ensure only safe wholesome quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices Perform other position-specific duties as assigned by supervisorPreparing a variety of foods for cooking according to instructions Receiving and storing food supplies and equipment Cleaning and sanitizing work areas equipment etc. Storing food in designated containers and storage areas Recording temperatures in storage areas to make sure temperatures are in compliance with health codes Qualifications Able to lift up to 50 pounds Perform repetitive motion with a knife or tool Able to twist turn or bend throughout an 8 - 10 hour shift Able to work in temperatures ranging from 40 - 98 degrees Work well in group settings Wear hair beard net hard hat ear protection safety glasses boots and or other personal protective equipment as required by position - no jewelry Able to stand on concrete floors for long duration of time Be able to work with large groups of people as a team Able to wear safety equipment continuously Must have phone interview and paid on-site orientation before starting on the manufacturing floor.
