One of the fastest growing architectural & engineering consulting firms is seeking to hire a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their Transportation division as a Senior Project Manager. Candidates must be dynamic entrepreneurial individual who is passionate and seeking an opportunity to grow a team of professionals. This position will work together with other individuals in a multi-disciplinary work environment as well as other office locations.REQUIREMENTSMaster s or Bachelor s degree Civil Structural Engineering from ABET accredited university. A licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Ohio or the ability to attain is required. A minimum of 15 (fifteen) years of experience in structural bridge engineering preferably in a consulting firm environment. Experience with training developing managing and mentoring younger engineering staff Business development and strategic planning skills. Proven communication leadership and time management skills Ability to check other designs and calculations Knowledge of local Bridge Design manuals construction specifications and current AASHTO code Experience in MicroStation GEOPAK and or OpenRoads AutoCAD etc. Experience with bridge design software for all bridge components Experience with ODOT Experience with WVDOH is a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Management of medium sized bridge projects and multi-discipline projects. Oversight and monitoring of the design plan development and QA QC reviews of bridge projects. Scheduling of project tasks and personnel to complete projects on budget and schedule. Proactively identify schedule financial or technical issues. Provide mentorship and training to less experienced personnel. Establish and maintain client relations. Technical writing and presentation skills for the development of proposals and presentations.
