Bridge Engineer - Structural Design Calculations Estimates Specifications - Canton OH - JOB 22-00235Salary Range Negotiable - Permanent Position with Benefits. One of the fastest growing architectural & engineering consulting firms is seeking to hire a Bridge Engineer to become part of a team that provides design and consulting services to both public and private clientele. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to mentor less experienced staff. This position will work together with other individuals in a multi-disciplinary work environment as well as other office locations.BENEFITS PTO 401(k) professional development tuition assistance health insurance dental vision and life insurance.REQUIREMENTSMaster s or Bachelor s degree Civil Structural Engineering from ABET accredited university. A licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Ohio or the ability to attain is required. A minimum of five years of experience in structural bridge engineering preferably in a consulting firm environment. Knowledge of local Bridge Design manuals construction specifications and current AASHTO code. Development and management of medium sized bridge projects. Provide mentorship and training to less experienced personnel. Review and check design calculations estimates and specifications. Perform analysis and design for all bridge components including steel and concrete superstructures substructures and retaining walls. Proven experience with the design of all components of bridge projects. Experience with bridge design software for all bridge components Experience in MicroStation GEOPAK and or OpenRoads AutoCAD etc. Experience with ODOT Experience with WVDOH is a plus. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
