The PeopleReady located at Brantford Ontario N3S 7S3 is currently hiring a PR 1293828 Asphalt Raker Job Description We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking Asphalt Raker to assist in the pouring smoothing and setting of asphalt for roads and parking lots. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 17 Hour Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day) Responsibilities Include Offloading the truck and gathering tools for the day. Transporting rakes lutes shovels and spray cans to the paver. Moving the pavement saw the transverse joint. Working as a flagger to direct motorists away from the work zone. Transporting water to the rollers power broom and plate compactor. Building a launchpad for the paver at the beginning of the pull. Assisting the screed operator Shoveling material out to the end gate. Maintaining cleanliness and packing equipment away at the end of the day. Qualifications Able to physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions. Knowledge of road and traffic regulations Ability to work as part of a team Ability to work on weekends public holidays and at night. Ability to travel wherever the job is needed. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Resume needed to provide to customer. Must be skilled with asphalt rake and lute. Hourly rate will be determined by skill level. Reliable Transportation is considered an asset.
