NRF Contracting is looking for full time Concrete Form Workers at 360 Guelph Street Unit 38B Georgetown ON L7G 4B5 Canada. There are 6 positions available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Read and interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools Measure cut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substitutes lightweight steel and other materials Build complex forms such as sloped boxes stairs high walls for deep pits etc. based on detailed approved structural and architectural drawings. Fit install and assist in fabricating bending and installing rebar based on structural drawings provided. Maintain repair and renovate wooden structures and other materials. Assist apprentices and other construction workers May prepare cost estimates for clients. Assist in pouring and finishing concrete with pump trucks concrete buckets or off the truck. Remove concrete blocks break concrete and excavate soil to desired depth s using a mini excavator. Load waste bins with excavated soil using a skid steer. Hanging and bracing forms. Stripping and dis-assembling forms after concrete has cured. Assist in fabricating bending and installing rebar based on structural drawings provided Hours of work are 40-44 hours per week Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is 28.00 per hour.
