Job Description Job Title Standing Seam Operator Reports to General Manager Job Summary MetalMax is a leading manufacturer of high-quality metal roofing and siding products with locations across the U.S. As our operations continue to grow we are looking to expand our Concord NH team. Competitive pay benefits and advancement opportunities are just some of the perks at this family-owned business.The Standing Seam Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing of customer orders both on the jobsite and at the manufacturing plant as needed. Essential Functions Produce orders in the correct quantities and profiles as ordered by the customer. Change tooling and perform calibration of equipment prior to each project. Input order parameters using the equipment controller. Coordinate and verify jobs with Transportation Manager and Production Manager. Provide proof of delivery job completion to General Manager. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of MetalMax products related to standing seam manufacturing. Maintain job-calibration-quality log. Interact with and provide world class customer service to our customers. Other projects and duties as assigned. Assist the Production Manager in the processing of orders not related directly to operating standing seam line when necessary. Knowledge Skills & Abilities Previous experience or exposure to site forming standing seam production lines such as New Tech Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work remotely without supervision for extended periods with varying hours required to complete jobs Able to perform tooling changes and calibrate equipment to ensure quality standards are maintained. Ability to work collaboratively with customers to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time. Must have a clean MVR and able to operate a vehicle with trailer. Ability to read-write and communicate effectively using both electronic and written formats. Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment directly related or associated with the manufacture or application of metal roofing and components. Ability to repetitively lift up to 75lbs. Able to work extended hours as required to ensure customer needs are met. Able to safely operate equipment as needed.
