Butler Fleet Maintenance and Consulting Inc. is looking for full time Automotive Mechanic Helper at 95 Flank Rd Hamilton ON L8L 5X5 Canada. There are 4 positions available.Main duties are as follows but not limited to Move tools equipment and other materials to and from work areas Assist in inspecting and testing mechanical units such as engines transmissions axles and brake systems to locate faults and malfunctions Assist in adjusting repairing or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis frame cab body engine and drive train air brakes steering and fuel hydraulic electrical and electronic systems Assist in repairing or replacing mechanical units or components using hand and power tools Perform other labouring and elemental tasks as required. Assist in testing and adjusting units to specifications for proper performance Assist in completing reports to record problems and work performed. Assist in adjusting repairing or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural brake and electrical systems. Hours of work are Monday-Friday total of 42.5 hours week. Pay is 25 hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school.
