Comply with established sanitation standards personal hygiene and health standards. Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques. Plan the weekly menu and shop for food (with use of personal vehicle) and other supplies to ensure the meals are varied and interesting and to ensure the refrigerator and pantry are appropriately stocked [under the direction of the Facilities Director and within the agreed upon budget] Provide services in a friendly and efficient manner. Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving time so that excellence quality temperature and the appearance of food are preserved. Keep work area neat and clean at all times clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation as well as refrigerator and pantry. Prepare and serve food for special functions as needed Available shifts Shift Timings 1st Shift(Day) Job requirements Prior food service experience and knowledge of and experience with cooking equipment is essential Must be flexible to adapt to changing needs Must possess the ability to perform outlined task with minimum supervision be self-motivated and maintain confidentiality in all matters The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
