Competitive swimming lessons

Swim Squad is a pre-competition programme that helps children move from regular swimming instruction to competitive swimming. Competitive swimming is a completely other world, requiring distinct talents and mentality to achieve success and enjoyment. Having a dedicated support network and a consistent training regimen during the transition from leisure to competitive swimming may assist manage stress, develop good habits, apply and practise appropriate technique, and retain higher performance. We apply Total Immersion techniques tailored to competitive swimming at Swim Squad to provide young racers an extra advantage in swimming efficiency. Participants must train on a regular basis (2-3 times per week) in order to enhance their performance and track their progress. Small-group training sessions promote discipline, familiarity, and team spirit. As they compete, children learn to support one another, developing strong friendships that both challenge and delight them. Swim Squad also provides children and teenagers with the opportunity to gain racing experience through mini-races, such as the Warren Golf & Country Club annual meet, in order to qualify for the Singapore National Age Group (SNAG) meet. For most people, race day is a unique challenge?practice and experience are required to learn to overcome anxieties and anxiety while still doing well and enjoying the event.
