Formerly an accountant at a small firm, Au Chat Kwan has departed the financial market and instead made his nest as a travel blogger. His travels often lead him to more rural areas in a country where he provides exposure to local products. As a samaritan and philanthropist, he believes that traveling need not be a frivolous venture but rather a way to give back to the community. By providing locals in the area an avenue to showcase their handicraft, he hopes that readers will expand their scope beyond conventional travel spots and support small businesses. To supplement this cause, he created a Patreon which he uses to help purchase and distribute his finds, allowing small-time businesses to reach a wider audience.
