Acadia Roofing and Contracting Ltd. is looking for full time Construction Worker at 85 Middle Dyke Rd Port Williams NS B0P 1T0 Canada. There are 7 positions available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas Set up scaffolding and ramps required at construction sites. Assist tradespersons such as Roofers in construction activities in installing disposing repairing or replacing 2-ply modified and EPDM roofing membranes Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools and sort clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes shovels wheelbarrows and other equipment Clean up and remove any hazardous materials. Perform other activities at construction sites as directed. Assist in installing repairing or replacing built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel. Assist in installing repairing or replacing single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions. Assist in installing and repairing metal roofs using hand and power tools. Hours of work are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday overtime pay after 44 hours. Pay is 22.97 per hour.
