Abbotsford British Columbia V3G 2Y1 CanadaJob Location Various Locations Lower Mainland BC Wage 30.00 32.00 hour and entitled to 10 days paid vacation per year Hour of Work 40 hours per week Start date of Employment A.S.A.P (will be adjustable)< Duties > -Read and interpret blueprints drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.-Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned project.-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.-Measure cut shape assemble and join materials made of wood wood substitutes lightweights steel and other materials.-Fit and install trim items such as doors stairs moulding and hardware.-Maintain repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills mines hospitals industrial plants and other establishments.-Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.< Requirements > Education Completion of secondary school is required.Experience Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program OR over four years of work experience in the construction field.< How to apply > By email at info.enfieldform(at)gmail.com Please respond with resume by email with Carpenters in the subject line.
