Ironwood Shake & Tile Ltd. is looking for full time Construction Worker at 2508 Twinview Place Victoria BC V8Z 0A8. There are 4 positions available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas. Erect and dismantle concrete forms scaffolding ramps required at construction sites. Assist tradespersons such as Roofers in construction activities. Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools and sort clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes shovels wheelbarrows and other equipment. Clean up and remove any hazardous materials. Perform other activities at construction sites as directed. Assist in installing repairing or replacing built-up metal roofing systems. Assist in installing repairing or replacing metal roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions. Assist in installing and repairing metal roofs using hand and power tools sheet metal flashings. Hours of work are 40 hours per week Mon-Fri (overtime pay after 40 hours). Pay is 27.50 per hour.
