Summary This employment opportunity is in a shop environment with high paced production of small metal parts for the aerospace industry. If this sounds like something you are interested in learning more about reach out to us.Job Duties Job requirements Reports directly to area lead shop manager and other management personnel. Learns and uses safety procedures uses PPE and other safety items for the work being performed. Sets up performs and controls the operation of hand and electric deburring tools and machines. Performs a series of deburring operations by hand or machine sanding and tumble deburring. Reads job order and tooling instructions to determine the deburring requirement. Selects changes and adjusts the quantity and type of deburring media. Cleans materials using water and soap and then dries materials using appropriate media. Loads and unloads deburred and dried media from tumble deburring machines. Inspects deburred parts to ensure quality specifications by touch and sight. Notifies area lead management and quality personnel when corrective action for production is required. Cross-trains and supports other areas as requested. Performs other duties as requested by area lead and or management. Other Qualifications Communicate in English (Read Write Speak) Reliable transportation to get to work daily. (Perfect attendance is mandatory for direct hire.) Candidates offered a position will undergo Drug screening Background Check and E-verify.
