IT Specialist - Strongsville Ohio - JOB 23-01027Salary Range 65K - 80K Permanent Position with Benefits. A Strongsville Manufacturing Company is seeking an IT Specialist. The IT Specialist is responsible for direct support for all workplace equipment (e.g. PCs Tablets MFP iPhones etc.) and indirect support for Infrastructure and Datacenter equipment (e.g. Server Storage Router & Switches) and includes the production network. Provide technical support and software updates to local software needs including MathCAD Compress SolidEdge TeamCenter etc.REQUIREMENTSBachelor s Degree in Computer Science 5 years in IT and field service Strong knowledge of Microsoft Systems such as Windows 11 Office 365 SharePoint Teams. Experience Knowledge with MathCAD Compress SolidEdge TeamCenter. Knowledge of Gemba Walk Must have strong multi-tasking skills. Must be able to meet established deadlines. Process oriented way of thinking Ideally have a sense of cost-benefit awareness Must have excellent trouble-shooting skills. Must have strong communication skills (written & verbal). Responsibilities Coordinates IT related topics and issues with local site management communicates customer and plant requirements in a structured manner to the IT organization implements existing solutions proposes suitable improvements or new solutions. Plays an active role in the development of improved or new solutions. Knows the variety of available customer services from the IT Organization IT Competence Centers and chooses the most feasible solution for the customer. Leads local IT projects. Ensures and monitors compliance with defined IT processes (e.g. asset license incident management) and IT policies (e.g. Mobile Device Standard Hardware or Printer Standard Policy). Ensures ticket tracking & escalation management for service and project tasks. Maintains organization s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Participates actively in Gemba Walks to ensure ongoing operations and optimize local IT processes. Manages IT related information for employees and supervisors advises and supports end users. Plans the local IT Budget and controls service assignments of external IT service providers. Ensures that security rules and current regulations concerning data security are correctly observed within the sphere of responsibility introduce corrective actions if necessary.
