The ability to sign up for jobs right from our mobile app JobStack Pay Rate The pay rate for this job is 17 hour What you ll be doing as a Dishwasher Maintain the cleanliness of the entire kitchen and catering area Assist the chefs and cooks in their day-to-day operations Assist chefs and cooks in receiving and putting away deliveries Wash a large volume of dishes crockery cutlery pots and pansaccording to Volta s training and put them away in a clean safe andorderly manner. Always maintain a clean and tidy dish pit Wash dry and fold kitchen laundry Maintain clean dining room tables and service surfaces throughout theday Refill plates cups cutlery napkins disposables etc. throughout theday Keep floors clean by sweeping brushing and mopping at all times especially at the end of the shift Collecting and disposal of all garbage compost and recycling binsinto the dumpsters Complete assigned cleaning projects daily Available shifts Shift timings -1st Shift (Day) 2nd Shift (Evening) andWeekends Job requirements Minimum experience of 2 years full-time working in a professionalkitchen (busy restaurant and busy catering preferred but chainrestaurants discouraged). This is not a customer service role Does not need to have specific dishwashing experience but must bewilling to do all the work required and perform them promptly Physically able highly motivated willing to be trained. This position isphysically demanding.
