I live in Waseca MN and have an emergency housing crisis going on. My landlord died a week ago last Friday and I have not yet found a place to live. I am on the Section 8 waiting list and made 8 calls trying to get my voucher bumped up to the top of the list but no luck. The office does not answer their phone except for voicemail. There are no 1-bedroom apartments in the entire city of Waseca for emergency assistance or Section 8 so far. My brother has lost the renters above the family business he inherited and is not dealable due to other medical conditions he has. (I will not give his name for his safety and mine). I have nursing assistant training and home health aide training which I used to help my former landlord and which he greatly needed. He said he never could have done it without me. I am looking for a 1-bedroom with a 10x 15 room with an air conditioner.
