NEW HIGHER SALARY 85 000 - 125 000 The ChallengeWe are hiring a Finance Director for our Global TransPark Authority team. In this role you will Perform complex professional and responsible managerial accounting and administrative work in developing planning organizing and executing the financial and budgeting activities of the NC Global TransPark Authority. Oversee and supervise the budget accounting billing purchasing risk management cash investments and debt management functions. Ensure fiscal responsibility including supervising and participating in the preparation and analysis of our annual financial audit federal and state regulatory financial reports investment of funds and forecasting and posting of revenues. Perform work in accordance with GASS GAAP GASB NC General Statutes and federal state laws and regulations. Oversee all financial accounting and internal controls procedures. Plan direct and coordinate all accounting functions for GTP including grants and grant administration special projects administration and associated budget-related matters. Manage production and oversite of our budget including awarded grants and administration of grants forecasts and monitors funding and monthly expenditures. What You BringDemonstrated experience with System Analysis Program (SAP) NC Financial System (NFAS) and other accounting programs including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for special projects. Demonstrated experience in resolution of complex issues regarding accounting and financial functions. Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data and reports. Experience presenting and compiling information for Executives Finance Committees and for Boards. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment. Ability to manage staff and adjust workload distributions to meet deadlines with positive results. Education & ExperienceBachelor s degree in accounting business administration finance or public administration or related discipline and 6 years of accounting experience or An equivalent combination of training and experience.
