SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for its client in Buckeye Lake OH. The person will be responsible for assessing treating and managing patients with respiratory disorders providing therapeutic interventions and promoting optimal respiratory health. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.RESPONSIBILITIES Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders including those with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) asthma pneumonia and respiratory distress syndrome. Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments including physical examinations pulmonary function tests arterial blood gas analysis and diagnostic imaging studies. Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team taking into account the patient s medical history current condition and treatment goals. Administer and monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions such as oxygen therapy aerosolized medication delivery mechanical ventilation and airway clearance techniques. Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions treatment options and self-management strategies to promote compliance and optimize outcomes. Provide emergency respiratory support and interventions in response to acute respiratory distress or cardiopulmonary emergencies including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including documentation of assessments treatments and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and departmental policies. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution. 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or acute care setting preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in the state of Ohio. Proficiency in performing respiratory assessments diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions. Flexibility to work rotating shifts weekends and holidays as needed.
