6 month 1 week old Mixed breed Boxer shepard He is golden tan with big ears and cute face. white paws and white mustache.. I have had him since her was 12 weeks and I adopted him from the Portsmouth Humane shelter. He is fixed and has had his first series of shots and worming. He needs one more visit and he is done. His name is Felix and he knows his name. Hes been use to being arpund my pug and Im sure he will misss him as he has been his other chew and lick toy.. There is nothing wrong with Felix he is a good dog and he will protect you and love you. I have to give him up as I am older and he needs someone who will be able to handle him as he grows. An Alpha Male. LOL he is sweet and loving and when he wants to love you he comes to you and Just Flops all of a sudden .. LOLOL I would imagine he would be good with older kids but I dont belive I would put him with babies or toddlers as he gets carried away when playing. He is House broke He will go and sit by the door if he has to go out or he will come and jump on you. He also will act like he has the hiccups when he has to go out late at night and dont want to go out..He wiill hold it to the last minute. I let him out first thing in the morning about 600 am he comes back in I give him a milk bone and he goes to sleeps. THE WORD IS NIGHT NIGHT .to get him to go to bed or to sleep. . I let him out agian about 900 am and I let him stay out for an hour and then I feed him one big scoop of Purina. I let him about an hour after he eats and he stays out for a few. I let him in at different times during the day but I never let him stay out at night He eats dry food only and I give him Purina puppy chow and he loves it. I feed him Olive oil In some wet dog food every other week with a bowl of milk as dry food can constipate puppys causing a bloked bowel.His behavior is typical puppy behavior. I have worked with him and he knows one word commands. He knows Sit and then down as I motion my hand down. When I want him to run right ill motion my arm to the right and he runs that direction and same of the left. He loves to play fetch and he brings it back to me. He is playful with other dogs and wants to be alpha male. Felix loves to please his owner but he will be distracted quickly by everything around him. He is a dog who is aware of everyone and everything in a house. I love that..as its a good sign that no stranger will ever get past him. He does not do well in a cage and will not stop barking if he is in a cage. He is still in the chewing stage as it usually last for a year. So far he has ate a roll of toliet paper and my fire stick remote. Make sure you put everything up wher he cant get it.. I buy him many toys and he loves to chew them. He loves Nylon bones. .He likes the toys from walmart that look like beavers and have a squeaky in them. He will tear them up in a couple of days so get two or three. He loves empty water bottles I put them in socks to keep the plastic from cutting his mouth. NOT Necessary. He sleeps in my bed every night. He knows when I say night night he will get up and go to my back door. He goes out and uses the bathroom and comes back in. When he comes in he goes straight to my bedroom. When he gets in bed and when im ready I give him a treat. I do not give him raw hide or pigs ears because his stomach cant digest it. I gave one of these treats to a dog I had and the surgery to remove the raw hide cost me a new car. LOL
