Our client a global provider of high-tech marine industry equipment is seeking Customer Service & Technical Support Representatives to address incoming customer requests by identifying categorizing & prioritizing calls .& managing accordingly. Based in Melbourne FL these individuals will interact closely with several departments Sales Logistics & PMO following through on each case to insure satisfactory closure. Accountabilities will include Thorough understanding of customers issues before deciding next course of action Review sales contract to determine resources required by maintaining solid knowledge of company s products. Provide service quotation to customers based on job requirements. Escalate case to Technical Experts & Field Engineers when required preparing Field Reps to go on-site. Schedule & arrange service attendances & ensure availability of appropriate resources (e.g. tools equipment spare parts) while Investigating & providing most cost-effective path. Request proposals & outsource services to 3rd party as appropriate. Monitor service progress from initiation to completion & update status in Customer Support information system as well as ERP system (e.g. spare parts warehouse inventory). Verify completion of service support delivered & Invoice Customers as per initial quotation & based on service outcome Ensure compliance with the company s Quality Management systems & liaison with Finance in tracking of accounts receivables on invoices sent Qualification for this role Degree in Electrical and or Electronics Engineering Maritime Engineering or similar field desired for senior level positions. Must have related support exp in Marine Electronics Shipping or similar industry environment. Solid abilities in Communication (oral & written) customer focus putting customer first & collaborative relationship building. Salaries for these positions (both first-level & engineering assistance) are commensurate with years of exp & level of technical knowledge.
