1999 Mercury Mountaineer AWD

Automatic w overdrive 8 Cylinder Regular gas [87 Octane] Good tread on 5 full sized tires Clean Title in hand All wheel drive - Handles bad weather - rain & snow Strong Engine & Transmission Keyless Lock Sun_Moon roof No check engine lights Summer of 2015 - New starter & front shock absorbers - WV inspection until March 2018 Reliable & Safe w great cargo room I would hold on to it but work requires a lot of driving & I need something better on gas. No hitch but this vehicle could tow between 4500 and 6440 lbs. This vehicle has 188 200 miles but you won t be overly concerned about that when you feel the strength of the engine & how smoothly the transmission shifts. I live in WV & last summer I had about 25 cinderblocks & 30 2x4 s lumber & this truck handled going up & down the mountains no problem. Two places where leather seats need work- I put on tape until I had time to stitch. Either stitch or buy seat covers [about 50 for front & back sets] One place where there s rust - inside pass rear door. One mismatched wheel replaced [pic] Missing a reflector [passenger side rear] Find one online [pic] Cruise control works No leaks I planned to sell this vehicle for 1750 now reduced to 1475. because I don t have the time for these minor cosmetic touchups. Have had it since then. This car has been the most reliable auto I have ever owned. It has the 5 liter v-8 auto with all wheel drive. Over the last 16 years the only repairs were. A. tranny repaired once ( 400) -B. had the radiator replaced once and have had the AC repaired once( 400). THAT IS ALL (It now has 199 500 miles) . I have done tune ups brake repair fluid changes etc over the years. At this point it now has a rear main seal leak and tranny fluid leak but not bad enough to require any fluid replacements between services (oil every 5000 miles and tranny every 30 000 miles. It is now used only as a second car or when we go to the high county for skiing in the winter and to the high...read more Thanks Joe
