This is a vintage pre-owned Decor Dresden creamer and sugar holder. A large pink rose adorns the top of the creamer while smaller pink roses decorate the sides of both the sugar holder and creamer respectively. Also noted is gold gilding throughout both pieces.Dresden porcelain refers to an artistic movement ie. several ceramic studios emerged under the Dresden name...of note Sandizell Hoffner & Co. Saxony Germany circa 1951-2008. Dresden decorators were the first to decorate their works with fanciful designs using a profusion of foliage flowers and gold scrolls (see photos).The sugar bowl measures approx 3.0 in height (not including the pink rose) and 3.5 wide the creamer measures 3.0 tall and 3.0 wide. Both pieces are four (4) footed. The circular base of the sugar bowl shows very slight wear which can be attributed to its age and history along with the fact that it has been pre-loved . Other than that there are no chips the glazing displays no cracks nor are there any stains.The price point of these pieces was determined by their vintage quality their excellent-good condition and the Rococco revival- style of workmanship of this porcelain. Both the creamer and the sugar holder are being sold together. Selling at 39.00 however I am flexible and all reasonable offers will be entertained.
