Our client a growing manufacturer is seeking a hands-on high-energy Controller for its plant located near Brattleboro Vermont. There is a small accounting staff reporting in to this position however this is the lead accounting position at this location. This position reports to the Plant General Manager and the CFO located at Corporate elsewhere. Responsible for managing plant finances corporate accounting cost accounting month and year end close regulatory and financial reporting budgeting forecasting developing internal control policies and procedures. Also oversees legal information technology payroll employee benefits and 401K. Must have relevant experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar position including experience with accounting MRP software package. Current Controllers Assistant Controllers Accounting Managers will all be considered. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step up to Controller. Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related discipline is required. Master s degree in Accounting and or CPA or CMA is a plus.
