Customer Service Representative - Call Center

Quicksilver Express Courier is hiring a customer service representative. This is a full-time position with the primary hours during the daytime Monday -- Friday . This is an entry-level position with opportunity for advancement. Quicksilver has been in business since 1982 and is one of the largest same-day delivery companies in the cities. Come join our amazing team today Job Description The primary responsibilities of this job are to provide outstanding customer service and assistance to both customers and courier drivers. The job is office based using the phone two-way radio and computer to communicate and complete tasks. Daily responsibilities include (but not limited to) Answer incoming calls and enter orders from customer calls in a friendly knowledgeable efficient and accurate using windows-based computer programs. Support drivers in completing deliveries -- answer questions investigate problems and communicate changes in delivery instructions. Communicate with customers when problems arise provide solutions and solving problems. Coach new drivers as part of their on-the-job training providing additional instruction and guidance. Work with dispatch team to keep customers informed of any issues and provide updates on delays. Other administrative and office work as neededQualification Requirements of a Successful Candidate Strong communication skills -- must be able to communicate verbally over the phone and radio with customers and drivers as well as written communication with coworkers and customers Excellent people skills -- must be able to work with a diverse team of drivers Multi-tasking in a fast-pace environment -- must have the ability to keep track of several details and complete multiple tasks at once Knowledge of the Twin Cities Metro geographic area Customer satisfaction experience -- must be able to work with dissatisfied customers to resolve complaints Problem Solving skills -- must be able to identify solutions and make fast accurate decisions Quick Thinking Flexible & Adaptable -- must have the ability to change plans when necessary as the situation constantly changes Basic computer skills -- will use windows-base software (training provided) Positive professional attitude -- must be a upbeat member of the team Call center experience is helpful courier or transportation experience is not requiredQuicksilver has been in business since 1982 and is one of the largest same-day delivery companies in the cities.
