Hours PART-TIME - 8 00am to 2 00pmJob Description Experience Serve students teachers and other staff in a pleasant efficient courteous and professional manner. Assist in some preparation of food (ex. Set up plates salad bar). Notify staff of items that need to be replenished and restocked. Assist with daily cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and bathroom areas. Must be presentable maintain knowledge and effectively communicate daily menus to fully explain meals being served.High school diploma or equivalent is required with 2 years related experience Understanding and knowledge of safety sanitation and food handling procedures Must be self-motivated and organized and able to take direction Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and withstand exposure to cold heat and water Ability to lift 30 lbs repeatedly throughout the day NYC Food Handler NYC Department of Health Certificate preferred Possess strong English language communication skills in order to speak read and understand basic instructions
