Original Colonial 3 Piece Glass set ( two candle holders 1 vase

Is Glassware that old rare. A complete set intact is very rare. Many museums do not have a set. A set just like this is in the State Department in D.C. These came out of A Virginia plantation home. These are hand blown and full of the defects that were common from our early glass industry. You had to be rich to afford these at that time. They are 11 inches tall light green and the sockets for the candles are right in the bottom. These were considered fire safe having the candle so far down and surrounded by glass. Pictured are the light green candle holders and the pontils where they were broken off the blow pipe. The vase is still boxed up and is perfect. At 11 inches tall they are quite stricking.
