Position Sales Associate (Retail Salesperson) Language English Work Location 401 Victoria Revelstoke BC V0E 2S0 Working conditions Permanent F T (40hrs week) Shift Overtime Weekend Day Night Evening Salary & Benefits 13.50 p h Longevity Bonus 4% of vacation pay Number of positions 3 Anticipated Start Date As soon as possible Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet customers Maintain a clean customer friendly environment in the store Advise customers on product and services Provide prompt efficient and courteous customer service Prepare merchandise for purchase Ring customer sales on an electronic cash register Receive cash from customers and give correct change Assist in display of merchandise Maintain sales records for inventory control Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems Perform all regular cleaning activities and other tasks that are included on job assignments Forecast order and stock merchandise Job RequirementsCompletion High school diploma or equivalent of secondary school is mandatory Willing and able to work a variety of shifts including mornings afternoons evenings and nights Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers Sales courses or training is an advantage These positions require constant standing bending and reaching.
