Classic Towing based in Plainfield IL is looking for an experienced tow truck driver. We are contracted with the Naperville Aurora Lisle Oswego & Wheaton Police Departments to provide towing service along with various motor clubs shop accounts and cash customers. We operate late model well maintained equipment. Currently we run 3 flatbed carriers and 1 self loader wrecker. We have a deposit down on a heavy duty wrecker with expected delivery in about 6 months so a Class A CDL would be a plus. Drivers typically work 4 days and have 3 days off. Some overnights and weekends will be required. Drivers are compensated by base pay plus commission. Workload varies from week to week. Drivers typically earn 550.00 on a slow week and 1 100.00 on a good week. Average is about 700.00 per week. Drivers must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check from the Naperville Police Department. Minimum 2 years of experience - this will be verified through your references. As we serve 5 police departments (24 7) with very stringent response times local (Naperville Lisle Aurora) residency is highly preferred. However out of town applicants are welcome. We have a driver s room with beds television refrigerator and shower for overnight shifts. Positions available immediately. Sign on bonus will be paid in two 500.00 installments. The 1st installment after 6 months of employment and the 2nd installment after 1 year.
