WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION Facilitated by Jerry Hendershot (an award-winning instructor) this workshop will examine art samples to expand our thinking about how we can successfully speak about our own art. Using an inquiry-based approach the group will compare effective and ineffective samples of artist statements and participants will then work to write successful statements of their own. WORKSHOP PREPARATION After registration Mr. Hendershot will email articles to read prior to the workshop. Particpants should bring a laptop with pictures of their work or printed examples of their work. Participants should bring their writing materials of choice (laptop paper pencil).
