Norton Transport is hiring Class A and B drivers to deliver commercial vehicles all over the United States. No forced dispatch great pay & great home time. Requirements Clean driving record. 2 years recent verifiable driving experience. Drive-away experience preferred but not required. Job Description Delivery of new and used commercial vehicles in a professional and timely manner one at a time (no stacking piggybacking.) . You will pickup and deliver semi tractors box trucks school buses cab and chassis sprinter vans dump trucks and other types of commercial vehicles. Plan to be on the road for at least 5 to 14 days at a time. You can stay out longer if you want. You will most likely have to dead head between delivery and next pickup. Some drivers use public transportation and or rental cars to do this others use a tow car. You will be paid 60 cents per mile plus a fuel surcharge of 42 cents per mile. ( 1.02 mile) You are responsible for fuel ground transportation and overnights if the latter two are needed. Norton pays for tolls and state permits when needed. You are paid via ComData cards - 1 2 the contract amount up front 1 2 the contract amount within one day of delivery - often the same day (depending on time of delivery). You may direct deposit to your checking savings account from your ComData card. Note You must have a certain sense of adventure be able to plan and know how to manage money in order to make this position enjoyable productive and profitable.
