Apply Now www.astonhotels.com careers Look for Job ID 1987 in the Job Postings Box On Call Housekeeping Coordinator Position Summary Responsible for all office work - answer phones check voicemail return calls in a timely manner input and assign daily work assignments update and maintain physical room status in the Property Management System (PMS) coordinate out of service out of order rooms handle of guest inquiries. Position Responsibilities Ensure housekeeping operations are carried out within the system and procedures required by the company. Assist Assistant Executive Housekeeper with the opening and closing procedures including assignment of units to housekeepers preparing daily clean sheets and piecework totaling at the end of the day. Ensure all calls are answered and voicemails emails returned by the end of the business day. Enter work orders as requested by owners guests. Assign work to cleaners inspectors linen attendants and utility personnel as needed. Maintain physical room status in the Property Management System as well as daily housekeeping traffic sheet. Ensure that property contingency reports are run consistently throughout the day. Maintain office spreadsheets and other documents as assigned by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper Housekeeping Supervisors. Coordinate all carpet and drapery cleans with outside contractor. Receives and verifies vendor delivers to the Housekeeping department. Follows up on work orders and guests requests to ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Computer and phone skills required. Housekeeping experience preferred.
