Van Nuys California Painting Constractor hiring experienced Journeyman Painter to join our team. Must have 3-5 years experience residential commercial or facility operations. Must have experience with interior exterior painting fine wood finishing antiquing faux bois distressing marbleizing wall treatments & textures venetian plaster gilding faux finishes and other decorative painting & finishing techniques. Must have knowledge in the process application code requirements methods & safe practices of the painting trade using paints varnishe lacquer enamel epoxy paint removers and other related materials. Must be proficient in English have a high school diploma or equivlent or have attended a trade school apprenticeship program including theory & on the job experience. Must have a valid California Drivers Lic. Must be able to perform physical activities such as but not limited to lifting equipment up to 50lb. Must have proficient knowledge of OSHA mandated Hazard Communication (GHS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
