Sensei Brian McClernan is instructing adults in traditional Japanese Ju-Jitsu at Interactive Fitness in Timonium Maryland . We incorporate Judo Aikido Karate and grappling. Sensei Brian McClernan has been studying Ju-Jitsu since 1999 and is a Sandan rank 3rd degree black belt certified by The American Ju-Jitsu Association a nationally recognized organization. Ju-Jitsu or The Gentle Art is not trained in full contact fashion and is not to be confused with MMA . We teach discipline respect honor and confidence. Ju-Jitsu s history and lineage dates back to the Samurai in futile Japan hundreds of years ago. We practice throws holds take-downs chokes kicks punches grappling submissions and other tactics related to this art. Even those with no experience are welcome as we teach according to your skill level.
