Original owner. Used trunk mounted rack in very good condition. Not missing any parts. All original. Holds 2 bikes.I used it on an 80 Celica the entire time of use. Image attached. Rack will hold two bikes easily. You can see the two dips in the red extension arms. I have used it with two bikes.My current car is old Honda. It will not fit because of spoiler than came on trunk. All four feet rest on the top of trunk. The two swivel feet adjust to curvature of the trunk near license plate. Adjustable longer straps hook over edge of trunk under window molding.Adjustable short straps hook under edge of trunk above license plate. Pulling both straps after hooking will tighten them. The swivels on either side allow adjustment for carrying rack.Many trunks in newer models close at top of bumper rather than license plate (like Celica). It appears the lower trunk adjustable straps should be long enough for this extra distance.It appears because of the adjustable rack arms it would also fit on vehicle without trunk suv s or vans. I don t think would work if spare is mounted on rear of vehicle.
