A full service architectural & engineering consulting firm is seeking a Contract Project Architect who is a self-starter to do project design preliminary design preparation of construction plans and specifications administration of a project and communicating with clients.REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree in Architect from an accredited college. Must be a Registered Architect with the state of Ohio. 5 8 years of related work experience is required. MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) AutoCAD & Revit are all required. Working knowledge of Acrobat Sketch Up & Photoshop Illustrator. DUIESCoordinate the work of drafting personnel technicians or other architects and engineers on technical matters. Responsible for project administration and design for a wide variety of projects in the municipal industrial commercial design build and institutional sectors. Ensure tasks are kept in within budget & schedule. Design schematic drawings from building program elements and develop construction details of the project using AutoCAD or Revit. Perform field investigation work by researching and investigating existing conditions from records or other information. Complete preliminary and final work drawings and construct preliminary Client-outs and drawings using sketches. Provide assistance on estimating architectural project costs.
