275.00 OR BEST OFFER - Beautiful Set Of Vintage Mid Century Modern Nouveau - Riviera Teal Blue Gobbets And Drinking Glasses. Discontinued Glass Pattern. Set of (14) Pieces consists of (5) Tall Water Glasses (5) Champagne or Sherbet Goblets and (4) Ice Tea or Wine Goblets in Riviera Teal Blue - Nouveau Pattern by Colony. Glasses are molded into a very thick glass (approximately 1 8 thick on the rim and approximately 1 4 at the base.) All pieces have a footed round base with a beautiful iridescent shine. Sides have (8) panels running vertically. I purchased these glasses myself back in 1977 from Service Merchandise when they were still in business. I used them a few times over the years but for the most part they were placed in storage for the majority of the past 39 years. These are SOLID HEAVY glass The measurements of the pieces are as follows Tall Water Glasses - approximately 6 Tall X 2 7 8 Dia. Champagne Sherbet Goblets - approximately 3 1 2 Tall X 3 1 2 Dia. Ice Tea Wine Goblets - approximately 6 1 8 Tall X 3 Dia. Very Good Vintage Condition with the usual signs of age and wear. There are a few very tiny chips on the rim of some of the pieces. As with any used vintage glass item some slight surface scratching may be present when held to the light. Glasses may also have some slight imperfections in the glass or iridescent coloring - This does not take away from their great look An Excellent Complement to your Collection AS AN ADDED NOTE - (If you re a Star Trek Fan of the Original 1966 TV Series you may recognize these particular Glasses. They look very Similar to the ones used on several Episodes of the Show from 1966 thru 1969.
