Barton Professional Placement Group is recruiting for a Direct Hire Career Opportunity for a Technical Inside Sales Specialist for our client located in the far western suburbs of Chicago. International hydraulic manufacturer is seeking technical inside specialist to combine technical knowledge with marketing skills and customer knowledge to influence customers to apply our products as their solution. Individual will work with field sales force as the key technical advisor and product advocate. SPECIFIC DUTIES Assist customers and field sale by creating model codes and providing price quotes and delivery options. Apply client s family of products by using technical abilities to create time sensitive solutions. Enter and modify orders including estimate delivery as requested by customers. Forecast and order inventory from factory while maintaining lean inventory levels. Create reports and documentation to assist outside sales staff and marketing personnel. Research correct part numbers create and enter new part numbers into database as necessary including correct cost and pricing. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor s degree in mechanical or hydraulic engineer field. Minimum 2 years in the hydraulic business as a sales engineer or technical sales support person. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills. Organizing and managing multiple priorities Ongoing cooperation with parent sales and technical offices and in particular with Sales Manager responsible for North America Be self-motivated with a proven track record in Hydraulics sales and technical knowledge BENEFICIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience working with an International company Fluent in Italian or Spanish language Resumes should be sent directly to chris.larsen(at)bartonstaffing.com
