Ahern Rentals is looking for a Parts Manager to manage staff and maintain inventory levels through transfers and part requests. The parts supervisor assists customers face to face and over the phone. This position must be able to understand customer s needs and make suggestions based upon our inventory.Incentive Package includes Competitive pay Paid Vacation Paid Holidays 401k Retirement Plan Benefits after the first of the month following 60 days will include Medical Dental Vision & Life Supplemental Insurance Options Available Employee and Customer Incentive Bonus Programs Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage hourly staff including scheduling payroll and daily tasks Request parts and supplies from internal and external sources Maintain appropriate inventory levels and remove out of code products Provide superior customer service in person and over the telephone Respond quickly and accurately to part requests from shop personnel Maintain accurate files and log books Other duties as assigned by Management Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Qualifications 1 year experience in Auto Parts required Must be able to operate a forklift certification or previous experience a plus Must be computer literate AS400 preferred Previous parts experience preferred Previous rental experience a plus Must be able to read write and speak English Must be able to pass drug test and background check Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days) Apply www.ahern.com careers
