The position starts as soon as possible.Position Long Haul Truck DriverTerms of employment Full-time PermanentWage 23.50 hr- 27.00 hr (Depending on EXP.)Benefits 4% of vacation pay Medical insurance Dental insuranceJob Requirements Driver s license Class1 or A or equivalent is required to drive long combination vehicles Pass air brake endorsement On-the-job training will be providedEducational Requirements Completion of secondary schoolJob Duties Operate and drive company trucks to locations across Canada (BC AB) and the US transporting goods and materials Planning trip logistics and acquiring required documentation to transport goods if necessary Inspecting vehicle systems equipment and accessories such as tires lights signals brakes and cold heat storage before during and after trips Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment loading and unloading and safety and security of cargo Ensuring to meet all the safety requirements and following safety procedures for transporting goods Recording logs for cargo information operation hours distance travelled and fuel consumption Performing emergency roadside repairs if required May be required to drive as a part of a two-person teamIf you are interested please submit your resume by mail or e-mail.Contact Information Flytom Transportation Ltd.
