Fabulous Vintage Mid Century Modern Sculptural Abstract Impasto Painting of what appears to be Three Templar Knights The piece is painted using the colors black white brown and gold and is executed in a Very Heavy Impasto Style. Impasto is a technique used in painting where paint is laid on an area of the surface (the entire canvas or board) very thickly usually thickly enough that the brush or painting-knife strokes are visible. Paint can also be mixed right on the (canvas or board). When dry impasto provides texture and depth the paint appears to be coming out of the (canvas or board). This particular piece is painted on board. The Painting measures approximately 37 Tall X 17 Wide X 1 1 4 Deep and is in Very Good Vintage Condition with the usual signs of age and wear. The painting is Signed but I can t quite make out the Signature. The Abstract Design is Striking and Demands the Interest of any Guest. Displays very nicely. Thanks for your interest.
