Maintenance Technician Lead POSITION OVERVIEW Were seeking a Maintenance Lead to provide ongoing maintenance support for all industrial processing and equipment on site. Maintenance Technician Lead must work alongside management mechanics processors and contribute to continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs for all facility plant and property equipment. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in the general maintenance of equipment and facility in an effective manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs typical maintenance tasks to support operations and all plant functions. Reference machine operation and maintenance manuals to perform scheduled and unscheduled periodic maintenance and or cleaning of equipment and machines. Maintains the work area equipment in a clean and orderly condition. In addition follows prescribed safety regulations. Identifies and resolves potential safety hazards. Performs simple and complex troubleshooting. Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce downtime cycle times improved efficiencies and eliminate waste within the processing environment. Advises management on significant maintenance trends affecting the facility and proposals for improvement. All interactions work flow productivity levels and quality standards are implemented with a Customer Service approach to both internal and external customers. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to include electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems motors variable frequency drives various pumps valves agitators and drive line components. Complete and maintain a written maintenance management system. Plan coordinate and administer the operation of the maintenance department effectively and economically. Provide adequate training for department personnel. Provide for adequate facility maintenance repair including utilities. Responsible for requesting adequate materials and supplies for the maintenance function. Analyze and resolve work problems or assists team members in solving work problems. EDUCATION EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS (MUST HAVES) Five (5) years general maintenance experience in a liquid processing plant. Strong technical background and training education with practical experience in plant maintenance. Knowledge and experience with air systems hydraulic boiler and steam applications. General welding skills including sheet and pipe welding. Proficient experience in maintenance applications software and Microsoft applications (Outlook excel word) usage. Good verbal and written communication skills. High school degree or equivalent. PREFERRED SKILLS Industry experience in waste water treatment and or manufacturing. Solid electrical background and experience with various motor sizes. Project management experience. THIS JOB IS 40 hour work week.
