Apply here or email a resume to mbs1(at)mgmtbsolutions.comThis position is located in Muskegon Michigan candidates must commute or be willing to relocate to the area to qualify for this positionSUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a healthcare facility in the Muskegon MI area to work closely with surgeons and other team members to prepare patients for surgery aid with procedures and maintain a sterile environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Complete scrub duties during surgical procedures as instructed Apply basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology medical terminology microbiology and pharmacology in preparing anticipating and passing surgical instrumentation to the Surgeon and sterile field Anticipate surgeon needs Account for sponges needles and instruments before during and after surgery Prepare operating rooms and patients for surgery as required Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure adequate staffing for emergency surgical procedures outside of standard working hours QUALIFICATIONS 1 to 2 years of surgical technician experience required experience with cardiac procedures a plus Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited surgical technician program required Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) highly desired or ability to obtain within one year of employment Well-developed hand and eye coordination in imparting instrumentation to the surgeon and surgical field Well-developed communication skills both written and oral and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
