SUMMARY Management Business Solutions (MBS) is actively seeking an Procurement Analyst in Grand Rapids MI for our client in the manufacturing industry. A main focus of this job is to coordinate operations and production planning to ensure timely receipt of all materials manages supplier selection ERP report management and develop unique inventory plans to meet department goals and objectives. This person will report to the Procurement Manager.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring timely receipt of all materials by organizing efforts with operations and production Negotiates pricing and cost reductions by manages supplier selection Analyst SAP reports and data to meet daily goals and objectives Managing purchase order confirmations and receipts using internal ERP system Eliminates cost reductions and eliminates line downtime Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Manages movement of materials with third party warehouses Works with internal and external freight for timely deliveries of incoming materials Updates supplier related metrics and coordinates supplier management programs Works to eliminate supplier related quality issues Track report and process quality performance issues MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the procurement and supply chain fields preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment required. Knowledge and experience with SAP MS Word and Excel required.
