The class is structured with an informative one hour instruction on a specific apparel skill set followed by one hour of hands on experience. During the course each student will be creating their own small company. The students will create a brand logo product boards and products that will be showcased in an end of the year fashion show hosted at Kleveland Clothing and put on by the students. Specific techniques included in this course are all beginner level and include drawing design sewing silk screening dye techniques product photography fashion photography marketing and event planning. Guest speakers who are highly knowledgable and trained in specific techniques will be brought in monthly to speak to the class and assist. Our program is specifically designed for anyone seeking out an apparel degree or looking to make a career change into the apparel field. Kleveland fashion ambassador program will help to build a professional portfolio and give students essential foundational skills that are necessary for success in the fashion industry.
