Monument Academy Charter School (MA) in Monument Colorado is seeking a part time custodian to start as soon as possible to provide quality cleaning and maintenance services in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. This position will take tasking and direction from the Facilities Maintenance Director.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Maintains school property through landscaping cleaning and general work. Duties will include but are not limited to mowing weeding sweeping snow shoveling mopping vacuuming dusting washing painting and trash removal setup and tear down of chairs risers and miscellaneous equipment for MA activities operating floor cleaning equipment assisting with lunchroom duties if needed other miscellaneous jobs dependent upon need Typical Schedule Monday through Friday 6am - 11am Hours 5 hours per day 25 hours per week Pay & Benefits 10.00 per hour depending on experience Contribution to Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA)Requirements Positive attitude Good work ethic Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good communication skills Clean appearance and proper attire Ability to operate and maintain cleaning and lawn care equipment such as an auto scrubber extractor snow blower weed eater and push lawn mower. Knowledge of efficient cleaning methods Safely lift up to fifty pounds Punctual Respectful Pass background check may be subject to random drug testing
